Experienced psychologist and psychotherapist. Natively Spanish, residing in Denmark, offering therapy in English and Spanish to an international community.
Cristina has been fortunate to gain extensive international experience having worked in England, Ireland, Alger, Spain and Denmark, which has hugely broadened her competences and expertise as an international and multicultural therapist.
After graduating from Universidad Complutense de Madrid- ( Spain) in 2011 with a CAND PSYCH in psychology ( BA+MSc in Clinical & Social Psychology ); she studied another postgraduate master course ( MSc) in Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy. She is an Authorised in Denmark by Psykolognævnet (Autoriseret Psykolog). Professionally, she has been fortunate to work across different fields such as Research at København Universitet (psykolog Institut); Psychiatry at Hospital Gomez Ulla (Spain) & at ASAV Health Mental Center (Spain); Counselling at MPDL NGO ( Spain) & Social and Humanitarian Issues as a volunteer at Asylum Kongelunden (International Red Cross-Denmark) and at Fisahara (Alger).
Over the last four years she has been a guest lecturer at the European Clinical Course at DIS (Danish Institute for Studies Abroad) & has participated in meetings and collaborations at Center for Latin American Studies (Copenhagen University) and at Center for Subjectivity Research (Copenhagen University).

Psychotherapy for adults- predominantly expatriates living in Denmark. Inclusive practice. Danes are welcome too.

Psychological treatment is based on Integrative Psychotherapy: behavioural, cognitive and humanistic approaches are combined. The objective for each treatment is set up by the client, and can change during the therapeutic process.
Cristina takes a holistic approach to work: looking at the mind, emotions and body to help achieve the patient’s individual objectives.
Since we are all different, we need different methods to awaken consciousness and boost our entire potential. Research based- evidence methodology. Self Development is a key element in every therapeutic process.
The techniques of intervention are mainly based on Transactional Analysis, Gestalt Therapy, Psychodrama, Brainspotting, Body Focusing, Process and Grieving Therapy Model, Art Therapy & Mindfulness.
